Water Damage Mitigation

It is never a good time to deal with the headaches of sustaining water damage. Protecting one of your biggest investments against major damage is a something we take very seriously. Our expert team will guide your through the process and immediately stop the damage from spreading further.

We begin by clearing all contents in the path of the water, followed by removing all standing water via extraction. This is key to protect the home from further damage, including mold formation. At this time we may deploy the use of moisture meters and/or infrared thermal cameras to uncover hidden saturated areas under floorboards or behind walls that may not be clearly visible.

The next step is to use equipment such as heavy-duty air movers to dry and commercial-grade dehumidifiers to dehumidify all affected areas. Windows and doors may also need to be open at certain times to help increase circulation. But this is done on a case by case basis.

Lastly, we may employ the use of High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) vacuums or air scrubbers to aid in proper sanitation, in addition to, cleaning all surfaces with a specialized antimicrobial solution.
